A peak too near
It looks as though training 3 times a day and living on protein and vegetables is a great way to shred quickly! i am very near the condition i hit last show, so i think i am going to increase the calories for a week or 10 days…. which i started by indulging in a skim iced mocha and muffin for breakfast… mmm….
so this is a dilemma i haven’t really come across before, but i have never started from this close to competition shape before. this process is really reenforcing my belief that the idea of bulking up is just being lazy with your diet and has absolute no benefit to bodybuilders, especially drug free ones. i have been able to stay strong and lean (under 10% bf) for well over 5 years, and this looks like it could be my best showing yet.
stay clean, stay lean.

Sorry for the absence, brain doesn’t work so good with the carb depletion stuff.
I always wonder when i diet like this: is that i am food-dumb, or is it that i receive the clarity to perceive my underlying dumbness? Formerly, i’d choose the latter, but lately i’ve been more informed.
so as not to leave any stone turned, i also neglected my video output for the last few weeks. no more! here, then is the video update to the tune of “Montage” from Team America :
oh wait… apparently that violates copyright, so it removed all sound. sorry, will redo in the near future!
Food: no real cheats, did have a whole wheat bun with lunch today because i was 3 - 4 lbs down from yesterday! Eating well [thanks to my lady], lots of meats and veggies! too much diet coke though… going to cut that out next week. for real. maybe…
Training: average of 2 weight workouts a day and two 30 - 45 minute cardio sessions. Bodyfat measured at sub 7%, going for a sauna to see what it looks like when all the extra water is gone.
[pictures soon, too]
